Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and acrobat. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But, she is primarily an artist. According to her, music has always been her first love. By the time she turned 12 the world of music had become important enough to start training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. It hasn't turned around since. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic origins. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico However, she is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. She strives to maintain it through studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. She received an impressive four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
