Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and raised by her parents. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. Her siblings are unknown. Luciana graduated from a local high-school in 1955 and studied naval engineering in Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana, the only female student in the class, was the first graduate. Following two years of modeling, she got an appearance in Three Coins in the Fountain. The film was her debut. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They made Return to the Peyton Palace together after their 1960 wedding. Luciana and Charles were blessed with a son named Charles on 13th June 1961. However, the couple split up a year after his birth. Luciana then gained custody. Luciana and Tony Athony were together between 1962-1970. Tony Athony was a performer and producer who was inspired by Luciana's contribution to the movie Green Slime. Based on the film, he wrote and wrote The Spaghetti Western hybrid that became well-known.
