Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina in the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there as well as her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
